Kety Perry

Kety Perry - Katy Perry was born with the name Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson on October 25, 1984 in California, USA. Katy decided to use his mother's maiden name because of fear mistaken with the actress Kate Hudson.

Since childhood, Katy was used to 'consume' music-gospel music. He often participated in activities in the church choir. Before deciding to move to Los Angeles, Katy has had time to actually release an album entitled Katy Hudson by label Red Hill Records.

At the age of 18 years, Katy decided to move to Los Angeles and had joined the team The Matrix. With Glen Ballard, he had recorded three songs that bear the title The Next Big Thing given Blender magazine in October 2004. One of the songs recorded with Ballard eventually released as the soundtrack to the film The Sisterhood OF THE TRAVELING PANTS.

After quite a while 'falling-up', luck finally arrived. In early 2007 Jason Flom, CEO of Virgin Records, offered a recording contract under Capitol Records. From this was born the contract recording the album ONE OF THE BOYS, which was launched mid-July 2008.
